The Botanical Gardens of Marsella is a cultural and educational site that shows the importance of nature's cycles. It was institutionalized in 1979 with the goal of preserving flora of the area, especially those species in via of extinction.

In the Botanical Gardens of Marsella, there are over 700 species of flora -- 120 in orchids, and in the section of heliconias, you will find a diverse number of plants of great beauty.

While strolling through the Botanical GArdens, you can admire the Antuario, el Palmeto de Cactario and cultivation of medicinal plants.
