LANGUAGE

Castilian (Spanish) is the official language of the Republic of Colombia, and with the exception of some Indigenous tribes, everybody speaks Spanish. It's interesting to note that the Spanish (Castilian) spoken in Colombia is one of the best spoken in the world with a very neutral accent.

There are approximately 75 Indigenous languages that are still spoken and conserved in Colombia, though, unfortunately, this number is diminishing.

Though public education includes English in the curriculum, it continues to be a language few Colombians speak.
