VISAS AND DOCUMENTS

There are no national restrictions to enter Colombia. A VISA is needed unless you are a citizen of one of the following countries. In that case, you can stay up to 90 days in Colombia strictly as a tourist: Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Bélgica, Brasil, Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, Finland, France, Great Britain, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, México, Norway, The Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad y Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela and foreign residents of Canada and the United States.

Travelers who don't have any restriction to enter Colombia, if they come for tourism purposes only, can stay up to 90 days in the country (counting from the entry date indicated on the stamp in the passport).

Those who wish to come to Colombia to work or study must get their work or student visas in their country of origin before coming to Colombia. Visas can be temporary or resident visas. The first are given to those who don't have any reason to stay definitively in the country, the second are given to those who wish to stay in Colombia for a definite period of time.

Before traveling to Colombia, we recommend you consult with the nearest consulate or embassy to make sure you have all the requisites required to enter the country.

Student card
International Driver's License
Vacunation certificates
Health insurance, travel insurance
Passport-sized photos
Photocopies of passport, insurance cards, credit cards and other important documents
